Repeating what I said to Dave off-list. Having retired from a career in 
pro audio, I've been dealing with latency in digital systems for 30 
years. What I think you missed is that there are multiple latencies in 
systems, and they're additive. Like what's in a modern radio. And in 
remote control of a rig, over the internet or from my living room to the 
shack in another building. 43 msec from you software is getting marginal.
