[Elecraft] K2 Keypad

My K2 (SN 04507) with K100, SSB module, etc. seems to have a problem with the keypad.

I cannot activate the filters (XFIL), switch from A to B, or get out of PRE (PRE/ATT). The MODE(1) key works, but the other 8 keys (2-9) don't seem to have any effect when pressed.

Does this sound like a hardware problem, or am I in some strange menu setting that is disabling the keys? (I apologize in advance, as this is a new radio to me, and this could easily be user error.)
