[Elecraft] KX3 in a multi-radio environment like FD

It might be good enough, but it won’t be as good as a K3. The K3 is a superhet, so the design is naturally more resistant to off frequency signals when compared to a direct conversion receiver.
You will want to enable the ISO preamp (isolation). Without that, the KX3 will leak RF at the VFO frequency out of the antenna.
I know Wayne has reported on using the KX3 at Field Day, but I don’t remember if that was a multi-radio environment.
The KXPA100 is a great amp, though the whole setup with a PX3 is a lot of cables. It took me a few years to learn how to reconnect everything without looking at a diagram.
