[Elecraft] K2-Bias Resistor When Using Mic Connector Pin 1 for Soundcard Input

Don,
Thanks very much for your response. I made the mistake of sending my email
in MIME format. I'm impressed that you were able to intuit my question from
the subject! The DigiRig schematic shows a blocking capacitor of 10 uF, so
it looks like I'm OK
My original email body was:
"’I'd like to connect a sound card output to a K2 mic connection. I’m using
a Digirig Mobile, their support page,
https://forum.digirig.net/t/cables-for-elecraft-k2/1147 , suggests
connecting it to the mic connection pin 1. My K2 has a 5.6K resistor
between pins 1 and 6 (as I understand it, required for my MD-2 mic). Does
this bias resistor need to be removed when I connect the sound card
output?"
