[Elecraft] KAT-500 Issue!

This discussion suggests there were two board configurations - one with both links on the same side of the board and the other with one link on each side.  It's not clear when the change was made or even which is the later configuration.

Another thread said separate the wires and insulate them if they had arced.

There may be more discussion to be found with a more thorough search of the archive.

Sorry, have not experienced the problem and don't have a better answer.
