[Elecraft] KAT 500 Firmware

I had a KAT500 fail to xmit back to the PC, but it could receive, so  
only one of the transistors was out.

To determine this, use Putty or other terminal program to send test  
commands to the serial port that shows up when you plug in the USB  
cable.  If you can command the KAT500 to switch antennas, for example,  
but you see no return message when you ask for the firmware version,  
then you will only need to replace the transistor that drives the  
KAT500 to PC line.
