[Elecraft] Control of K3s from computer

I had the K3s operating correctly controlling it with an RS232 cable from
the computer.  When I try to replace that with a USB cable, the radio isn't
found.  The computer says the port is operating correctly. I'm stumped.

The software's the N1MM.  I've made an inquiry there.

Perhaps there is a menu item that needs attention?  I have been through it
all, but don't recall that there is.

Any suggestions?

ps -- The P3/SVGA is running an external monitor just fine and the control
path evidently goes through the P3.  I have the proper cable connected.
