Call me old-fashioned, but I've installed hundreds of Power Pole 
connectors mostly the smaller red/white ones used on the K3, but also 
the much larger grey ones that accommodate up to #4 wire. I use only 
simple hand tools and a soldering iron.

The use of crimp tools makes sense in a production environment.
