I'm 2 hours from Elecraft. I should be able to walk in my radio for repair. Ted

You should not put the K3S into TX TEST mode when doing the TX Gain 
Calibration.  TX TEST is a condition where everything in transmit works 
*except* there is no RF output.  TX TEST is set ON/OFF by holding the 
right side of the MODE button. 

Use the TUNE button when doing the TX Gain Calibration manually.
