Hi Tony,

I use this macro for split and it works for me:

BW0001;SWT13;SWT13;FT1;UPB7;RT0;XT0;#SPN000060;#RCF+002500;BW0280;

BW Sets bandwidth to as narrow as possible...

SWT13 Copies the current vreq to VFO B

FT1 	Selects VFO A

UPB7 	Moves the VFO A up 5

RT0/XT0 Clear RIT and XIT

SPN Sets the P3 span to 6 KHz

RCF Offsets the current displayied frequency 2.5 KHz sideways
on 	        the P3 screen moving it close to the left side of
the
        display.

BW280   Sets the Recieve bandwidth at 2.8 KHz, while leaving the
        transmit at minimum...

I do CW mostly so I want a small vertical line showing transmit
frequency.

Hope this helps...
