[Elecraft] Portable antenna for KX3

Gotta agree with Frank on the AlexLoop... When it is adjusted and you stay put on a frequency for a while. I disable the internal tuner when I use the loop. 

I find that the tuner is useful with my other portable field antennas, the SuperAntennas MP-1 and a random hank of wire. I find the MP-1 to be best when I have a good ground plane (car roof, porch railing, etc) and I am just tuning around. The random wire is great when I have the space and a tree.

Each has it merits and its "issues", but when I have the loop set up and properly tuned, it is the best compromise in a portable unit.
