which describes two aftermarket accessories:  Rework Eliminator(TM) K2
Option Bypass Headers and Rework Eliminator(TM) K2 Internal Mic Adaptor.
The mic adaptor more-than-dramatically simplifies the task of reconfiguring
the K2 to support any of more than 65 popular amateur radio microphones.

    In addition to rewiring the front panel mic connector, it also "inserts"
an external bias resistor when necessary.  And best of all, both tasks can
be accomplished by removing your K2's left side panel and rearranging a
half-dozen jumpers!
