[Elecraft] on PSK the ALC bar setting is no longer stable -- ideas why?

Seems really odd to use USB for data. DATA A is just USB with a data-friendly preset, right?
Also, which firmware rev they are using.
There seem to be situations where the microcontroller loses its tiny electronic mind and needs a reset. Early on, I would lose RX when going BAND+/-, then it would come back if I did that a few more times. I could not figure out way to reproduce the behavior. An EEINIT and config reload fixed it.
