[Elecraft] [K3] KRX3 rave

Perhaps, I would like to share some experience.

I set VFO A&B 'LINK' and use both main and sub receivers receiving the same frequency.  Even both receivers are using the same 'main' antenna, I notice a much earier copying of the signal.  By turning and balancing the outer and inner knob of the AF control, I can find a sweet splot for my ear listening and hence easier copying.

I cannot explain this within my limited radio knowledge but it does help me a lot.

When I purchased my K3 I also ordered the sub receiver, all was good.

Then I ordered a P3 recently.

What a lethal combination for working split operation dxpeditions. The
sub receiver is absolutely great, the P3 add's the visual side of things
and makes it even better.

If I could have only one of the two it would be the sub receiver,
however, lately I've been just using the P3 for working split which is
very effective.
