[Elecraft] K3 commander issue

Assuming that by "Commander" you mean DXLab's Commander component, I can't
reproduce any problem with the mode setting running 10.6.9.

I set memory 1 to 20m USB and memory 2 to 40m LSB.  Clicking on the
respective memory buttons correctly restores the frequency and mode.
