I use Fldigi on Linux, and just connect the audio cables from the
computer's built in sound board to the K3's jacks since they are already
isolated.  Both the Hamlib and RigCAT control backends support keying
the K3 using the RS-232 command set so no need for an extra PTT port on
the computer.
