If so, is there any reason not to go to 450 khz to cover 455 khz i.f.
frequency?  Pardon me if that does not compute.

I would like to request a change in the firmware that would allow me

to Edit the frequency of the 160M band to 475 khz.

( 1500 KHZ is as low as it will go at this time ).

This would make a nice signal source for transverter design

on the 630 meter band.
