ALERT --
For those owners of new K2s thinking of ordering a non-stock knob.
Be aware that there are now 2 different encoder shaft sizes. The older
encoder is no longer available.
The Yaesu knobs fit on the old shaft, but those K2s that have the new
encoder (black cube-like body fitted with an auxiliary board) have a
shaft that is slightly larger than the old one.
The new encoder is the same one used in the K3, so obviously the K3 knob
will fit, but its diameter may be too large and will likely require
stacked felt washers to provide a bit of drag. I have not tried the K3
knob on a new K2.

Bottom line - make sure the knob you purchase will fit your encoder
shaft before putting down $$$ for a custom knob for the K2.
