That is the way the DSP is designed. High and Low Cut are limited to
pitch +/- half the filter width. Based on your data, it looks like
your pitch is 500 Hz.

Can't be ... you may have started at 2.7 KHz but BW is defined as
2 x (FH-FC) so as soon as you moved either FL or FH BW changed.
