The one I saw at Dayton was about 4.5 by 4.5 inches on the face
(including the heat sink), and about 10 inches in depth. Those
measurements are not exact, and only represent the accuracy of my
"calibrated eye". The KXPA3 took up about 1 3/8 vertical inches of
panel space and the vertical height of the KXAT3 was the same.
My 'eye' was 'calibrated' after 10 years of running a custom woodworking
shop, where I was acclimated to making approximate measurements. When
the real measurements are revealed, it will be interesting to compare my
approximations - my skills with that stuff are now 13 years old.

I picked it up to see how heavy it was and I am guessing about 5 lbs or under -- by the way, I am not good at guessing weight. Eric was right there so I asked him if this was the weight of the final model and he said that that particular unit did not have the antenna tuner in it and that would add a little.

It was about 8 or 9 inches deep (long) and again this was just a guess. I did not spend too much time studying it as it was on display and the crowds were beginning to gather.
