[Elecraft] PIN for K3??

Joe,

Yes, removal of ALL the chords and /or power supplies is a good way.

I guess I was thinking of an easy way to 'Lock' the station without
removing hardware for when I was not in front of the station but not
heading off on a shopping expedition or similar time away from the K-Line.

Your spot on with the risk of a FW lockout becoming an issue if some
critical step were to be forgotten.

The KX3 uses a 2 button Hold for On/Off, I was imagining that a 4 button
sequence (built around numbers?) would be effective but I do see the
drawbacks as you mentioned.

Still, a healthy discussion and a few moments contemplation might be
beneficial?

Certainly any 'added' FW modification needs to be placed in order with
respect to 'other' unfinished work..:-)
