Happy New Year !!!!!



This is the first time I post on the reflector, so I hope I do it right.



There are two thing I would like to se possible, those are just thoughts
bud maybe it is already in development. If not, maybe the are ideas that
are to the likings of others. Maybe even someone at Elecraft :-)



The first idea is;



It would be great to be able to use the KX3 as a second receiver!

Being able to operate the KX3 from the K3, but also directly on the KX3.

I mean fully integrate the KX3 in to the K3, mute on transmit and so on.

This would upgrade the way to operate second VFO (SO2V), and would boost
the sale of the KX3 even more.



Second idea is;



A power supply that you can build into the K3. The K3 is a great radio for
holiday operations, field days and so on. Bud each and every time you will
have to bring a separate power supply.

If you do not have a “fully loaded” K3, the looks to be enough space for a
power supply.



Who knows, maybe this are ideas that become available in the future?
