SSB/CW VFO Offset
The K3 can automatically offset the VFO frequency when you switch from SSB
to CW mode, so other stations will hear the correct CW pitch. See CONFIG:CW
WGHT for details.

You can transmit in CW when SSB mode is selected by just hitting the key or
paddle; there=92s no need to use cross-mode split in this case. The SSB
station will hear the signal at your sidetone pitch. See CONFIG:CW WGHT.

CW WGHT
VFO OFS

Tapping the 5 key selects automatic VFO offset when switching to CW from
any other mode. The offset is the sidetone frequency that can be adjusted
by holding the PITCH and tuning VFO A. VFO nor (the default) provides no
offset. This is useful if you are carrying on a conversation in SSB and
both stations wish to switch to CW.
