[Elecraft] K3 vs. KX3 for digital modes

I use my KX3 with an isolating (transformer) attenuating cord @ 5 watts with a 24 foot wire antenna and it works very well. Tried to keep it simple with the KX3 for portable operation. 
I use a SignaLink USB with my K3 & it also works. very well @ 10 watts.
