[Elecraft] Questions on Yamaha CM-500 boom headset with K3

Nate,

You actually can leave the headset plugged into the back of the K3 and 
the desk mic plugged into the front.
Change the one that is active with the MIC SEL menu.  No extension cord 
required, and no fishing for the jacks.
