[Elecraft] P3 - spikes that never move

Bill,

If this is the same thing we were talking about a few days ago, I was
able to pretty much eliminate mine by replacing the BNC cable for the IF
input.

I'm in Fixed Tune and Fix Track mode on my P3 and when I tune the K3 the
spikes would move with my display. You could never catch up to them or
hear them in the band pass. Annoying, but not a major deal. But like I
said, a few of us found the BNC cable at fault and I think one op
mentioned sanding the cabinet ground areas of the P3 to improve
connectivity and this helped as well.
