If you do use a wall wart, make certain it is a regulated one.  Many 
wall-warts develop much more than the 'sticker' voltage at no load. You 
may have to try several of them to find one that does not pollute your 
station environment with noise.
Sorry, but I can't point to any specific ones.  Look om www.mpja.com to 
see if you can find one that you think is suitable.
