[Elecraft] What does the frequency readout mean?

Pete,

When receiving in CW-USB and you tune to a lower pitch, you will be 
tuning to a higher frequency.
If the receiving station is also using CW-USB, the pitch in his receiver 
will go up.
I just verified that on the test bench.
