I thought I read that you only had to do that once.

I have wondered the same thing since I built mine, still haven't used it yet
as mine was an "F" unit and not very old.

Subject: [Elecraft] XG50 warmup after initial run

Hi all,

I ordered the XG50 along with my KX3 and finally got around to soldering
the former. It's currently doing the recommended 8 hour initial run. If I
were to turn it off after the eight hours and turn it on later for the
actual extended calibration procedure, is there any required warmup? The
documentation for the procedure didn't seem clear on that.

Thanks,

-Mooneer
