I'm using PstRotator from Codrut YO3DMU. I run the server side on a Dell
Optiplex computer ($200 used - very quiet and reliable) at the remote site,
along with server apps for KPA and KAT. I run the client side at the
control site. Codrut's package has extensive support for many different
rotors and logging software. It even supports remote control of elevation
rotors, SteppIR controllers and other stuff. In my case, I control an Orion
RC2800P-A rotor controller at the remote site from Writelog on my control
site computer. Type in a call, push an F-key and the rotor turns to the
correct azimuth. Very slick. Writelog connects to the control side
RemoteRig RRC COM1-USB port for rig control as well.
