[Elecraft] Rotor control

David,

Assuming you already have serial control of your rotor, then I can 
suggest two ways to control remotely without using a PC at the radio side:

1) If you are not using the RRC's COM1, you can use that to control the 
rotor as well. This passes the serial port over the internet

2) If you are already using COM1 for something else (e.g. for CAT 
support under the K3 Twin mode), then you can buy a separate serial port 
server device, such as from Lantronix or Moxa. These need to be setup in 
a similar manner to the RRC, i.e. port forwards in the router, etc. Then 
you install a serial port redirector on your local PC that accesses 
these serial ports over the internet through your normal control software.
