Good Evening,
   The sun has finally ceased its journey south.  The short days are made
even shorter by the gloomy weather; sunshine is measured by
minutes/week.  But it is a good time to sit by the fire and work at a
keyboard or at the bench.

   Conditions on thirty and forty meters have been very quiet this week. 
Even if the signal is not very strong the lack of background noise
makes them easy copy.  If the QSB is not at the dit rate things are
fine.  Though losing every other dit does make copy more interesting.
