John,
If the KAT100 is used with the basic K2 (no KPA100), then the KAT100
will provide the forward and reverse power indication and those values
will be displayed by the K2 during a TUNE.
When the KPA100 is connected those forward and reflected values come
from the KPA100. A similar calculation of SWR is done in the KAT100 to
display the SWR on the LEDs.
