Maybe the Elecraft crew could offer an optional "squelch tail" sound
when the K3 PTT is released. This would have the dual effect of letting
the elderly and hearing impaired know when someone is done transmitting
while giving many newer ops a more comforting and familiar operating
experience by emulating the sound of a repeater unkeying...
