[Elecraft] Possible power supply option for the KX3

Hi Phil,
I have been using a China switcher now for about 7 months. It is a 13.1 VDC at 29 Amps unit in a very small package for about $48 US. No RFI, has a built in fan, plugs into 120 VAC and if you didn't look you would not know it was there. Just got back from a 10 day fishing trip and used it every day. Look up LightObject.com. They are in Elk Grove, CA and have a warehouse. Tell them I sent you, no rewards or connections to me, just good service and they speak English, hi.

I haven't got a KX3 yet but when I do I will power it the same way I power my KX1, my Norcal 40A, and even my K3 at times. A rechargeable Li-ion nano-phosphate battery pack available from Buddipole. The four cell variety is a very nice size for powering the small equipment like the KX1 or KX3.
The recharger unit is separate of course and I use the Cellpro 10s for recharging the battery. I admit though that this is not the cheapest solution but cheap is not usually my main objective.
The Li-ion battery is very RF quiet!
