[Elecraft] International shipping costs

Hi Franki,

to my mind the price difference is not worth it, at least for delivery to 
Germany. I had both my K3 as well as the KPA500 (as well as other 
non-Elecraft items and hopefully soon my KX3) delivered through USPS with no 
problems at all with their German partner DHL/DeutschePost. German customs 
kept it in but you simply send them a copy of all the paper work and pay the 
VAT and they will release it and it will be delivered to your doorsteps then 
by DHL (or you go to the customs office personally to pay and pick it up 
there which I've done a few times, too).

UPS for sure works a bit smoother as they take care of everything and are 
quite a bit faster but to my mind that is not worth a 300$ price difference 
(plus VAT for that on top). YMMV, depending on who's the Belgian partner. 
Hearing of all the trouble the UK friends have with their USPS partner it 
might also be a bad experience.
