John, there were quite a number of retired types taking the class. I will
say that this class should be avoided if one doesn't have significanly more
than the ten hours a week that the syllabus suggests (unless you do this
for a living.) They will be offering other classes as soon as this fall so
you haven't missed out on the only opportunity to participate. Now that
I'm a little more aware of what these classes are like, I don't if I'll be
signing up for a fall class. My wife and son are saying "yay, we get daddy
back" so I can't say this experience has be quite as positive for them.
