[Elecraft] K2 new build teething problem

Don,
Thanks for the reply. My K2 is just the bare bones transceiver, with no
options added and I hadnt changed any of the default options. I did change
the 8R Hold parameter to 'Hold' which I think was its original setting. I
also had some voltage checks to make following advice from Gary at Elecraft
support, all of which were within limits. In any event the problem seems to
have resolved, and I would thank you for your help. Interestingly I have
not been able to recreate the fault by reversing the 8R Hold parameter. I
hope I didnt just disturb a bad solder joint enough to make it good doing
the voltage checks, as that might mean it will recur at some time in the
future...
