Ok guys, I get it. I've always worked split with dual vfos but I see the
advantage of the ability to hear the other guys instead of shooting blind
and hoping the dx staion picks me up. 
If you don't have something, you don't know you need it!  I'll put the sub
receiver on the "buy" list. 
(should have asked more for my K2)
