Yeh . . . It's not broken, Barry, just doing only the limited tasks its code allows.
I had a conversation or two with the individual who (formerly and somewhat regularly) sorted things manually. It's still manual. He wanted to know if I could cruft (sic) some autosort code; I replied, with thanks for the implied flattery, that it's always been above my abilities, much more (less?) my paygrade. For example, I have no idea how to construct effective error traps.
You may have noticed my experimenting with the list parameters from time. That's how I concluded that there are more ways to access msgs than the present Nabble code can handle well.
I go back and delete my posts after an interval, as well. Paranoia, you know, and, yes, I know they're archived *somewhere.
If people restrict themselves to Nabble's live-access mode for reading and posting, the problem will probably morph into server inadequacy.
It's just another c

Nabble appears somewhat broken. It rarely sorts messages these days, even with a title which includes something like [K3].
For example, the last 8 K3 posts which were placed in the K3 subdirectory date back to Dec 2, and the last 8 P3 posts date back to Oct 2, with only one in Dec and one in Nov.

Hi, all concerned:
In my not so mumbled opinion, if everyone would:
1. read msgs *online* from Nabble *only*, and
2. post *online* only to the official Nabble sub-groups, and
3. on the subject line, enclose the official Nabble sub-group's name in brackets, for example like this: [K3], followed by the poster's subject for discussion, and
4. read and heed the moderator's "sticky" posted regulations at the top of each sub-group, especially the
Topics or first group,
we might save some poor soul from having to decide a thousand times a day what msg should be moved from the Topics group to which sub-group.
But . . . what do I know? I'm just a reader like you fellas.
