[Elecraft] KPA500 band change mystery SOLVED

Oh. When I said missing pins, I really mean missing continuity in the cable. There may be pins showing, but not connected internally in the cable.

If you have continuity on those pins, then I guess the KPA should follow the KAT (which follows the K3). Page 19 of the KPA manual shows the required cable (so you could home brew one). It's also shown on page 8 of the KAT manual.
