[Elecraft] [KPA500] latest upgrade

I'm having the same issue.

Recently I installed a KAT500 & upgraded both the KAT500 & KPA500 firmware.

I'm sure the K3 was sensing when to use full power (KPA500 = OFF or STBY) or 
reduced power (KPA500 = On & OPER) before; it did not seem to matter whether 
the K3 or KPA500 was turned on first.

Now I have to make sure both are on and then switch the KPA500 to STBY then 
back to OPER otherwise the K3 sends full power (100 watts) to the KPA500 & 
it faults.

I believe that I do, and, apparently it wasn't.

The new amp code is set to work 'better' with the KAT500, which I do not
have, since I would need a remote version and that's either not yet
available or it won't ever be available, I can't tell which.

I will simply go back to the old version of KPA500 code since it was fine
for my use.
