Good Evening,
The nets went rather well this week. Forty meters surprised me at
how many I collected. But I should not have been since forty has
supported a number of contacts for me this week. It could be related to
the gloom here. Once the sun has come up it stays the same gloomy grey
all day long. Then it gets dark. I was at the grocers today when the
saleslady mentioned how hard it was to tell the time.

With the dry wood I cut this year it is easy to start a fire. A
piece of newspaper, some dried fir bark, and a match. But, since early
October I have rarely let the fire go down that far. I can stoke the
fire at 10 PM and still have coals at noon the next day. Saves me from
carrying so much wood :)
Until next week,
73,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net Control Operator 5th Class)
