Yes, it does matter - that is why there is a boot for the QRP BNC 
connector supplied with the KPA100 kit.
When the KPA100 is installed, the antenna output must be from the SO-239 
jack.
Failure to do so will result in incorrect power control from the K2, and 
the QRP BNC connector will be connected to the antenna and the input of 
he KPA100.

Unless you pyhsically remove the KPA100, use the SO-239 jack for RF 
output when the KPA100 is installed.

If you want to operate QRP with the 0.1 to 15 watt range, power the base 
K2 from the coaxial power jack and do not connect power to the KPA100 
APP connector.  That will give you full power control range for the QRP 
level K2 - but the RF output should come from the SO-239 jack on the KPA100.
