Buddy,
I believe you would have to physically disconnect the RF and power connections on the main board of the K2, as well as unhooking the connection on the front panel that goes to the integrated KIO interface before the original K2 BNC will work properly.

Subject: [Elecraft] A Really, Really, Really Dumb Question
Hi,
Yeah, really. Exceedingly dumb, but I figure I'd better ask anyway.
I have a K2/100. Naturally, this means it has the SO239 antenna connector on the 100-watt amp, It also, of course, still has the BNC connector from the original assembly of the original K2. So, with the KPA100 integrated, is it still possible (with the amp turned off, naturally) to use the BNC antenna connector? It seems to me it's possible, and that I actually did connect an antenna there once, but just want to be sure that it doesn't matter much, so long as the amp is disabled.
