[Elecraft] USB to Serial Converter Question

I got a new computer awhile back.  I hadn't attempted to load the drivers software  until now.  I would like to get my K3 to the latest firmware update and also play with my new XG3. 



The Elecraft sheet for the USB to Serial Converter says to look at the computer's Device Manager to find Ports (COM & LPT).  Upon getting into the computer's Device Manager I don't see such a folder, and I can't find the "Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port listing .  I've looked through all the other folders in the Device Manager; no luck.   



I am using Windows 7. 



Can anyone out there help me?
