I use both ears and I want to thank Elecraft for the excellent diversity
obtained in the K3 design. I hadn't used it much on 30m with my 1wl beverage,
because the beverage is too short. I don't have room here in the back yard for
a "REAL" beverage.
Last week end I installed one of the Pixel Technology 500Khz to 30Mhz loops on a
rotor at ten feet in the back yard. It works great on all bands and even helps
with fading when working the bands I can work on my Yagi-Uda antenna.
Sorry about the "plug" for the manufacturer, but many times that's how we find
about things. I had never heard of Elecraft until one day I was telling a
friend I was about to order a Ten-Tek Orion II and he told me about the K2 and
the new K3, which was not yet available.
