  Ed,

I would suggest leaving all but the ones around the crystal filter as 
you have them now, but use all the thicker-bodied ones for the filter - 
the filter characteristic will benefit.

The ones with the thinner bodies have a different voltage to capacitance 
characteristic than those with the thick bodies.

You were wise to ask.
