  A moment of silence....a part of history that few of today's
  hams know.  (I was the FCC Ship Radio Safety Inspector in
  San Francisco for several decades.)

  The clock that I was referring to is the wall-sized replica
  using a quartz mechanism - a $25 product - not the mechanical
  clock that is easily worth several hundred as a collector's
  item.

  I wish that I could have had that done also but it was not
  feasible.

  No doubt - but accurate time is essential when using Elecraft
  transceivers in critical situations....  :-)
