Good Evening,
A long rainy week just ended with a sunny and very pleasant Saturday.
It looks like the week beginning tomorrow will have many sunny days with
temperatures rising into the mid 50s. That will be nice. It is hard to
imagine how cold it is in most other parts of the US. Even in the
Southeast this winter has been harsh. But here we have had only one spate
of cold weather. After the rather chilly summer this is good for us.
Hopefully next summer will be warmer than it was last year so I can enjoy
being outside longer. I have some building projects which need dry, warm
weather to accomplish.
I saw my first deer in a few weeks while on the way home yesterday.
She just appeared out of the fog and then disappeared once again as she
walked into the mist. A few miles later I popped out of the top of the
clouds into full sunshine. Propagation was pretty good on twenty
throughout the week though there was some QSB on Friday. Maybe the sun is
acting up again but I've not looked at SpaceWeather in quite some time.
As long as I can get good copy it doesn't matter to me how active the sun
may be. During the long doldrums that site was acting as a home page for
one of my browsers so I could find any whiff of solar breeze. It will be
fun to follow this cycle to its peak.
Please join us tomorrow afternoon and evening.
